Tempest is actively worked on, with the current stable version being 3.x. You can check up what's planned and upcoming by browsing our milestones on GitHub.

Everyone is more than welcome to contribute to Tempest, and can even work on features in future milestones if anything is of particular interest to them. The best way to get in touch about Tempest development is to join our Discord server and to read our contributing page.
